With its title taken from a quote refering to Irish epic tales as the "earliest voices from the dawn of western civilization," my long-term research on the folklore of Ireland's ancient monuments presents storytellers within their landscapes. When published, it will be a computer-based project examining 200 different sites with photography, video, audio, and virtual-reality environments. Presented here are some portraits of the storytellers and a selection of the archeological sites.
